This was originally a plain sewing box with almost black handles and feet, it didn't suit me at all!
I removed all of the wood and gave them 3 coats of white acrylic paint then sanded all of the remaining wood down.
I then used some lovely Tilda coordinating papers and carefully cut them all to the specific measurements for each section of the box.
I used watered down PVA to stick them.
Next I used a mixture of Picked raspberry, Spun sugar and Tea dye distress inks to blend all the edges.
The Picked raspberry is very pink so I used the tea dye to try and tone it down.
Now I just have to find some little crystal knobs to go on the top as the old ones were a garish brass colour!
But I'm not rushing to find them as I'm a fuss pot and will no when I see the perfect ones :)
