Lily of the valley wedding card 8x8

This is an 8x8 card made using a lily of the valley topper then matt and layered with silver paper and some free wedding themed papers.
I added some square gems in the corners and stamped the sentiment form a lily of the valley stamp.
I think its pretty but elegant x

Pearl Elegance Birthday card

This card was made in a hurry as I needed one quick for a friend. She likes pink and pretty things and this kit fits the bill. Its an 8x8 card which I seem to love making at the moment and I just used the elements from the kit, some paper to mat and layer the card onto and a few extra pearls I had.
Do you like it? x

Little Knickers

I made this card for a commission with the brief being (excuse the pun) Little Knickers! its for a little girl and that's her nick name so the friend wanted a card made for her 5th Birthday.
I found this image from Mo Manning and thought it would be perfect in its irony.
I used some free papers from an A4 booklet as the card is 8x8 and they are the best fit, plus I used Gem card, I love Gemstone card from Coredinations but its hard to get! I printed the sentiment out and used my bookplate die cut to cut it out , I love it and the customer who ordered it was so pleased, do you like it? xx

My Craft Area

This is my crafting area, it takes up a nice neat corner of my dining room, we are decorating soon so it will get a bit of a makeover but as you can see I love to label everything and one of my favourite things is my Brother label machine so everything has either pink or green labels! I even label all of my distress inks, upside down of course :)
I have to label all of my folders and if im honest half of what I love about crafting is the labelling and organization it involves ....yes I know!!

Floral Happy Birthday

I made this card using a Hunkydory Kit as my mum needed a quick card to give her friend, It was really easy to make, I just mounted it on some lilac shimmer card, I love, Love shimmer card! then added some gems before using some glue gel to stick the topper, I like the depth it gives x

Neutral Button Heart

I made this using a rectangle canvas that came in a pack of 4 for £4.99, an assortment of neutral buttons from my stash and some 99p dove craft glue! I drew the template on the a4 paper and drew around lightly with a pencil then spent a while deciding which button went where before sticking them all down.
The pencil marks rubbed of with a rubber as I went around it.
The glue I used is a bit like glossy accents so its a bit shiny and the hearts too low but as its my first attempt I'm pleased.
Its now hanging on the wall outside my bedroom and I do really like it, do you? xx

Revamped Chair

I found this chair in an awful state and managed to buy it for £3.00! It was filthy dirty and a dark brown colour with a green Pvc covered piece of card for a seat!
First I removed the seat then I scrubbed it with hot soapy water, sanded it, scrubbed again.
Next I gave it two coats of undercoat then I finished it with two coats of a milk white cupboard paint that I had.
I found some foam and covered a piece of hardboard then used some Cath Kidston oilcloth I had left over from my tablecloth and stapled that on.
I finished it by using the screws that were already on the chair to keep the seat down. I took me a day and cost me just £3.00 as I already had everything else from my last chair project! I just wish I had some before pics! x

Altered Sewing Box

This was originally a plain sewing box with almost black handles and feet, it didn't suit me at all!
I removed all of the wood and gave them 3 coats of white acrylic paint then sanded all of the remaining wood down.
I then used some lovely Tilda coordinating papers and carefully cut them all to the specific measurements for each section of the box.
I used watered down PVA to stick them.
Next I used a mixture of Picked raspberry, Spun sugar and Tea dye distress inks to blend all the edges.
The Picked raspberry is very pink so I used the tea dye to try and tone it down.
Now I just have to find some little crystal knobs to go on the top as the old ones were a garish brass colour!
But I'm not rushing to find them as I'm a fuss pot and will no when I see the perfect ones :)
I hope you like it, Thank you xx
